Braces

Traditional braces remain a reliable and long-standing way to straighten teeth effectively.

Invisalign

Invisalign® is a clear aligner system that gently shifts teeth over time, offering a metal-free way to straighten your smile.

Hidden Braces

Citrus Grove Orthodontics offers behind-the-teeth braces, giving you a low-profile option for straightening your smile without anything showing in front.

Phase One Orthodontics

Phase One orthodontics is an early-stage treatment that helps correct significant dental problems in kids before their adult teeth come in completely.

Phase Two Orthodontics

Phase Two orthodontics may involve braces, clear aligners, or other treatment options to straighten teeth, making it a solid choice for both teenagers and adults.

Retainers

Retainers keep your teeth in their corrected position once orthodontic treatment is complete, helping prevent them from shifting back.

Smile Assessment

A smile assessment builds confidence and helps detect any orthodontic issues through a thorough examination.

Palatal Expansion

A narrow upper jaw in children can cause dental problems later on if it isn’t addressed early.

Growth Appliances

Growth appliances assist in directing how the jaw and teeth develop, helping them align correctly as a child grows.

Fixing Bites

Fixing bite problems can help your teeth work better, look better, and contribute to overall oral health.

Frequently asked questions we here from our La Mirada patients

How much does Invisalign cost in La Mirada?

  • If you’re in La Mirada and thinking about straightening your teeth, Invisalign could be a solid option. It’s often more affordable than people expect, with typical costs ranging from $3,000 to $7,000—similar to traditional braces, which usually fall between $2,000 and $6,000. The exact cost depends on your specific needs, but many insurance plans cover part of the treatment, which can help reduce the overall expense. Interested in finding out more? Let’s talk about how Invisalign can help you get the smile you’ve been hoping for.

Is Invisalign Painful?

  • It’s normal to feel a bit of soreness during the first few days of wearing a new Invisalign tray. Because Invisalign moves your teeth gradually, the discomfort is usually less than what you might feel with traditional braces. In fact, studies show that people often experience more discomfort with braces during the first week than with Invisalign.

Do I need a referral to be seen at your practice?

  • You don’t need a referral to make an appointment! You can book a consultation online at our Orange, CA office. During your visit, you’ll meet our skilled team, talk about any concerns you have, and go over a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

How far is your office from La Mirada?

  • We are located just 20 minutes from La Mirada.

At what age should my child see an orthodontist?

  • The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children have their first orthodontic checkup by age 7. Early visits can help catch potential issues before they become more serious. At Citrus Grove Orthodontics, we offer care for patients of every age.

How do I know if I need orthodontic treatment?

  • Orthodontic treatment might be needed if you have issues like crooked teeth, gaps, crowding, or bite problems such as an overbite or underbite. An orthodontist can examine your teeth and recommend the right treatment for your situation.

How long does orthodontic treatment take?

  • How long treatment takes depends on how complex the case is and the type of treatment selected. Most people wear braces or aligners for about 12 to 24 months.
